"When I see the map of Palestine unidentified on Google Maps I feel the pain and uneasiness of a group of people ostracized for their beliefs. I feel the strength of the echo of their voices and I cannot turn away. I am not Palestinian but I stand in solidarity with the oppressed. Project Nimbus is, in my opinion, an abuse of power from a company designed to help people, not just an opportunity to gain market share in cloud computing. I understand the ramifications of a for-profit company looking to ensure their financial future, but at what cost? Where is the accountability for those in power to help those in persecution? Where is the morality? I do not support Google’s role in Project Nimbus."
